eTown Shopping - Surfing our Shopping Mall

Visiting any new site can be a overwhelming task at times.

You need to learn different layouts and navigation points for every single website you visit.

eTown Shopping Mall designed a single surfing layout that all merchants in our shopping mall use. This way you do not have to struggle learning new layouts every time you look at a products.

Let's start with the basics.

Browsing Products by Categories

Our Category Menu is called "Directory" every Shopping Mall has a Mall Directory that lists categories and then shows the stores that offer the different items.

In our case the Directory lists the Categories and from there you will find the stores that offer the products.

When you click on a Category from the Shopping Mall Directory you will see a sub menu appear. This menu allows you to narrow your search quickly to find just the type of product you are shopping for.

Browsing eTown Shopping Mall Directory Details

When you click on one of our categories from our directory menu you'll see the title of the category in the header of the page and the page title.

You'll also see how many products are listed under the category you have selected.

If the number is very high you might want to narrow you browsing search by selecting a sub category shown in the shopping mall directory to the right.

Once you have narrowed your browsing search down to the products that interest you you can start scrolling down the page.

You'll see a small image of the product and a short description of the product.

The Details Button will show the full details of the product and information about the merchant you are visiting.

Under the description you will find the price and inventory. The Stock Date is used to show when the last time the inventory level was updated by the seller.

Under the stock quantity you'll find a link view the products details called "View Item Details".

Then we offer a link to visit the sellers website if available. This is not a redirect to a new network. This is a direct link within the eTown Shopping Mall Network and you will find on that page a "Go Back" button as well as a link back to eTown Shopping.

The reason we setup merchants in our network is to make shopping easier. If you had to visit different websites for every product that were designed differently you could spend hours searching for a single product. We make things simple by developing stores that all match and work together in the mall.

Below the Store Managers name you will find the detailed category names were the product is listed. This is for your reference so you know how to find similar products.

Refine your Product Surfing and Browsing Results

At the bottom of the page when you use our Directory Menu you will find our sorting features to refine your product browsing if many products are listed.

You can sort this page by Price Ranges, By the Sellers that offer products under this category, By the Store names and sort by Price.

This helps you narrow your browsing quickly when the number of products reach the hundreds.

We want to make things work fast and offer detailed methods of finding products. Shopping is more discovery of products then it is anything else. We let you discover more products by developing custom applications to sort how you would like the products sorted.
